Tony began dancing at 8 years old at Westin Arts Academy & Artistic Fusion Dance Academy in Fort Collins, CO. His mother was a dance instructor & after years of assisting her classes, his inevitable transition into teaching had begun. Now with 17 years of dance education experience, Tony remains on faculty with both Monsters of Hip Hop & NYCDA since 2007, where he travels the country helping young dancers to grow, learn & have fun!
In addition to being a teacher, he works as a Choreographer & Artistic Director for film, tv, music videos, live stage, award shows, commercials, arena tours, & black box theater, His resume includes Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Lopez, Versace, Toyota, SYTYCD, DWTS, America’s Got Talent, The Voice UK, X Factor, Disney, The Grammy’s, multiple shows for Franco Dragone, multiple feature films for Kenny Ortega & multiple Installations at the LACMA Museum. He also contributed Choreography for The Greatest Showman, The Wynn Hotel’s “Lake of Dreams,” & was a recipient of the prestigious USC New Movement Residency 2019.
He proudly supports Homeboy Industries, The Advot Project, Creative Visions, The Wooden Floor, & The Painted Turtle. He was a guest speaker for TEDx Palisades, & he has brought dance to the Parliament Of World Religions to highlight the current state of plastic pollution in our oceans & the global refugee crisis.
Tony is trained in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Partnering, Flamenco, Butoh, & Street Dance. With an emphasis on hard work & dedication to process & craft, Tony reminds his students that how we do anything, is how we do everything.
