Paris Cavanagh Biography

Paris Cavanagh is one of Australia’s leading choreographers and creative visionaries, known for her distinctive blend of genres and her signature ‘Commercial Contemporary’ style. Her work has earned international acclaim, including a nomination for the 2024 World Choreography Awards for the video HOPE, created in Sydney, Australia.

Recently, Paris choreographed for Becky G’s ‘Otro Capítulo’ 2024 American tour, and created an unforgettable routine that earned a coveted Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent, sending the Brent Street dancers directly to the live rounds. Paris continued to captivate the AGT judges throughout the competition in the Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals, and Grand Final. Howie Mandel even praised her, saying, “That lady right there, you are the Van Gogh of choreography.”

Paris also directed and choreographed a viral campaign for Interscope Records LA, promoting Billie Eilish’s album Hit Me Hard and Soft, which became an internet sensation with millions of views across platforms. This led to a collaboration with Universal Music Australia, where she taught her iconic Billie Eilish routine, THE DINER, in a Masterclass.

Her choreographic portfolio spans high-profile projects for global brands like Pepsi, Nike, Lululemon, Instagram, and JD Sports, as well as major events like the NBA Halftime Show and the Cruise Lines International Awards. Paris has also choreographed music videos for Jason Derulo and Jessica Mauboy, further solidifying her influence in the entertainment industry.

A two-time recipient of the Best Choreography Award at the Australian Dance Festival, Paris’s achievements have garnered national and international recognition. Her impressive resume also includes dancing for music legends such as Kylie Minogue, Ava Max, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Little Mix, Jessie J, Tones and I, Guy Sebastian, and Nicole Scherzinger.
