Jamal Sim’s is a three-time Emmy-nominated choreographer and one of the most in-demand Director/ Choreographers working today.Ā His most recent credits include choreographing and directing Disney’s The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl, directing an episode of Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies as well as choreographing the entire season for Paramount Plus,Ā Disneyās blockbuster hit Encanto,Ā Netflixās musical 13: the Musical, and Disneyās Aladdin directed by Guy Ritchie.Ā Ā Other film credits include Girls Trip, Hairspray, Vanilla Sky, Beauty Shop,Ā 17 Again, and the feature films Step Up 1, 2, and 3 as well as the Step UpĀ TV series.Ā Ā Among his other TV credits are the 82nd Academy Awards, Dancing With the Stars,Ā and So You Think You Can Dance.Ā He is currently the resident choreographer on the multiple Emmy-Awarded RuPaulās Drag Race and Celebrity Drag Race.
