With over 20 years experience in the Entertainment Industry, GEO Hubela is a choreographer, creative director, dancer and teacher. He is also Ā Co-owner and Director of one of New Jerseys leading dance education facilities, ICON DANCE COMPLEX, home of the ICONic Dance Company.
GEO has choreographed internationally for stage and screen in France, Germany, the UK and Taiwan. His most recent work is choreographing the first ever live stage show for the Lionsgate Films franchiseĀ Step UpĀ in Dubai.Ā His other recent work includes multiple campaigns forĀ Old Navy,Ā including a holiday campaign starringĀ Stranger Thingsco-star Gaten Matarazzo.
One of GEOās biggest accomplishments is as creator, choreographer and manager of the internationally known ICONic Boyz Dance Crew. The Boyz were runner-ups on Season 6 ofĀ Americaās Best Dance CrewĀ Ā and became teen pop culture dance sensations. GEO performed on Season 1 ofĀ Americaās Best Dance CrewĀ Ā andĀ Americaās Got Talentas the director, choreographer and dancer for the ICONic Dance Crew.
Geo has choreographed such artists as Aaron Carter, Kelly Rowland, Lilā Mama, Brian McKnight, and Paula Abdul and corporate shows for companies such as Prudential, Macyās, Murphy USA, Food & Wine Magazine, and the Big Apple Awards . He has also choreographed national commercials forĀ Jet Blue,Ā Best Buy, andĀ Slim Fast.
As a performer, GEO has danced with some of the biggest stars in the music industry such as Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, P!NK, Britney Spears, ‘NSYNC, Ā Macy Gray, Selena, Deborah Cox and Michael Jackson. GEO’s other film and TV credits includeĀ Glee, The Wedding Singer, Ā Step Up, ThatĀ 70’s Show, Chicago Hope, The Young and the Restless, The Goodwill Games, The NAACP Image AwardsĀ and theĀ 69th Annual Academy Awards.Ā
