Danny Lawn Dance Educator

Danny Lawn is an internationally sought-after choreographer, educator, and creative director known for his dynamic movement quality, musicality, and ability to connect with dancers on and off the stage. With years of experience teaching and mentoring dancers across North America and internationally, Danny has become a respected voice in the competitive and commercial dance worlds alike. His classes focus not only on technique and performance quality, but also on building confidence, artistry, and individuality within every dancer he works with. As a director and faculty member for leading conventions and intensives, Danny is passionate about creating inspiring, supportive environments where dancers feel challenged, motivated, and seen.

Professionally, Danny’s career has spanned stage, screen, and live performance. He was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance Canada and has performed alongside major recording artists, including Katy Perry, Kesha, and Adam Lambert. His screen credits include Frenemies, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, and Hellcats, as well as appearances on World of Dance. Danny has also worked closely alongside renowned choreographer Mia Michaels on numerous projects throughout his career and was part of the opening ceremonies for the 2011 Pan American Games Opening Ceremony. In addition to his performance and choreography work, Danny is also the co-founder and director of Press Play Dance Convention, where he continues to cultivate opportunities for the next generation of dancers and artists.
