Comfort Fedoke is an internationally recognized dance educator and Emmy Award–winning artist whose teaching spans master classes, workshops, and intensives across the U.S. and internationally. She has taught at universities, professional training programs, studios, conventions, and festivals, working with dancers from beginner through professional levels.
She is the creator of The Dance Artist Method, an immersive intensive that introduces dancers to the realities of the professional industry while supporting artistic development. The program offers insight into industry standards, expectations, and career pathways, and operates as a small-scale agency model, creating potential opportunities for professional work. The method integrates groove-based Hip-Hop foundations, movement research, and improvisational tools, offering a framework for sustainable growth as both a mover and an artist.
Comfort’s professional career includes serving as Associate Choreographer for Universal Pictures’ Wicked, directed by Jon M. Chu. She gained international recognition on So You Think You Can Dance and has since returned as an All-Star, choreographer, mentor, and judge. Her credits include work with H.E.R., John Legend, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Missy Elliott, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Nike, Apple, and Red Bull TV. Her screen and stage credits include Footloose, Step Up 5: All In, The Mindy Project, Blindspotting, The Big Leap, That ’90s Show, The Santa Clauses, Disney+’s Hip Hop Nutcracker, and the West End production of Cabaret in London.
In class, Comfort emphasizes groove, musicality, intention, and individuality. You are challenged to move with clarity and purpose while developing confidence, embodiment, and a deeper connection to both the culture and yourself.
