Originally from Nashville, Chase Benz is a stage director, performance producer, choreographer, and teacher who has staged music videos, televised award show performances and music concert tours for many of today’s top-selling recording artists.
He choreography credits include supervising the electropop, dance-pop numbers in the Britney Spears Piece of Me Las Vegas Residency, the Britney Spears Circus and Femme Fatale world tours, Backstreet Boys Larger Than Life Las Vegas residency, Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin’s Energia and La Familia tours, Sebastian Yatra Dharma Tour, Florida Georgia Line Smooth Tour, Rihanna Last Girl on Earth tour, and the So You Think You Can Dance Tour and the Apple Music Festival.
He choreographed jazz, hip-hop, contemporary and country western dance numbers for Britney Spears Jennifer Hudson, Coldplay, Chain Smokers, Kelsea Ballerini, Tauren Wells, Danny Gokey, and Kim Petras for appearances on the MTV Movie Awards, iHeart Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and other live televised stage performances. His choreography has also appeared on Saturday Night Live and the Fox new network series, Monarch starring Susan Sarandon.
As a dancer, Benz performed in music concert tours with Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera, and appeared in the motion picture productions Stomp the Yard, Hannah Montana: The Movie and Step Up 2: The Streets. His clean cut, boy next door looks and performance capabilities led to his big break when he booked a slot as a dancer in Christian pop singer Stacie Orrico’s Creation Fest tour at just 15-years old.
Chase Benz lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters. He continues to direct, choreograph, and teach at large dance conventions. He is also a Bachelor of Arts candidate at St. Mary’s College and enjoys surfing.
