Antonio Martinez is an aerial arts choreographer and performer who has worked all over the globe. As a versatile dancer and aerialist, Antonio finds innovative ways to merge dance and aerial. He creates acrobatic works to meet the growing demand of specialty in our commercial dance industry.

Antonio first studied Jazz, Ballet and Musical Theatre Dance at Oklahoma City University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Spanish Language. He started training in aerial arts at Canada’s prestigious Toronto School of Circus Arts as well as Hollywood Aerial Arts. He later began teaching Aerial Technique and Choreography for both Royal Caribbean International and NCL Entertainment. Antonio now teaches for Studio School in Los Angeles, CA as the institutes’ first Aerial Professor & Choreographer.

Antonio’s choreography has recently been featured in America’s Got Talent, Dodge & Ford Motor Company commercials, MGM Hotel & Casino, The Americana, Verizon’s Lo Mejor De Mi Campaign, Strong Productions, The Bellagio Las Vegas as well as productions for Eplus & Infiniti Creative, The Jeff Probst Show, Drake: Live In Concert, Mary Kay industrials, and aerial choreography and instruction for singer Sangeeta Kaur as well as Shaun T of Beachbody fitness.

His success as a leading aerial choreographer and performer in the industry has been a product of his diverse dance career. Antonio has danced on TV, film, music videos, stage, tours, industrials & commercials performing all styles of dance. His recent credits include Penny Dreadful: City of Angeles, The Masked Singer, the Billboard Music Awards with Taylor Swift, New Girl, Old Navy, The Ellen Show, Gilmore Girls, Jane The Virgin, Speechless and Dancing With The Stars. Some stage credits include La La Land Live at the Hollywood Bowl, MAC Cosmetics Industrial, the international tour of West Side Story & the national tour of Dance To The Movies.

Antonio’s versatility in dance & aerial arts paired with his respect for safety allows dancers, singers and actors of all levels to create magic. His choreography is innovative, powerful, and exciting. Antonio’s love for all music genres is the heartbeat behind his work within an industry that demands more and more wow factor.
