Jason Williams is a North Carolina native who studied and developed his career in Los Angeles for more than a decade. Growing up in a southern, musical family inspired Jason’s soulful, genuine choreography. Jason’s choreography also takes inspiration from his early experiences with jazz dance, Studio 54 disco era, Bob Fosse and powerful feminine figures such as Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul. Jason’s extensive career in film and television as a dancer has translated to choreographing effectively for film. You can now find Jason teaching the Jason Williams Experience at the world renown Steps on Broadway. Jason also has taught his choreography internationally in Poland, Brazil, Amsterdam, Manchester and London.

Jason’s versatile choreography has lent itself to many different platforms such as television, film, music videos and NBA dance teams. Jason’s choreography has acquired a large following on social media platforms and is sure to achieve commercial success. Jason’s pursuits also include choreographing for a Broadway show, a major motion picture as well as major recording artists.
