Zachary Venegas is a forward-thinking dancer and choreographer known for his electrifying movement, versatility, and bold creative vision. Originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico, Zachary began his dance training at the age of 15 at Cheryl’s School of Dance, where he studied a wide range of styles. His talent and dedication quickly set him apart, earning him a spot as an Elite Protégé with The Pulse On Tour, where he assisted legendary choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Gil Duldulao, Cris Judd, Dave Scott, and Laurieann Gibson.
After moving to Los Angeles, Zachary signed with McDonald Selznick Associates, launching a professional career that has taken him around the world. His performance credits include working with top artists like Lady Gaga (“Abracadabra”), Doechii (“Anxiety”), Justin Bieber (2012 Billboard Music Awards, “Beauty and a Beat” ft. Nicki Minaj), and Rihanna (The X Factor). He’s also appeared in Sam Smith’s “How Do You Sleep?” choreographed by Parris Goebel, danced in the Savage X Fenty Vol. 3 Fashion Show, and performed with Jason Derulo at VidCon. Additional highlights include performances with Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, and J Balvin at the 2022 Grammys, as well as appearances on Victorious, The X Factor, and the Radio Disney Music Awards.
Zachary’s choreography portfolio is equally impressive. He’s created dynamic work for global DJs like Calvin Harris, Tiesto, and Laidback Luke, and choreographed music videos for artists including Bia, Fletcher, Tokischa, Sabrina Claudio, and Charlie Puth. His stage work includes choreographing five original productions for Royal Caribbean across their international fleet.
