Jared has been truly blessed to have work with some of the biggest names and brands in the world. His current credits include Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Jazmine Sullivan, Migos, Tyla, Super Bowl 56, Tinashe, Cassie, CW’s All-American, Rupaul’s Drag Race, Lip Sync Battle, Halsey, YG, Snoop Dog, Armon and Trey, Cirque Du Soleil, BET’s Music Awards and Black Girls Rock, Soul Train Awards, Good Morning America, Verizon, Washington Commanders, Brooklyn Nets and New York City’s Fashion Week.
Jared believes that the most important aspect to a class is the learning environment set by the teacher. He creates a space that is welcoming and encouraging, while being challenging and educational. The “fun” in his class is directly correlated with the challenge. Setting a space where students are comfortable with messing up, exploring, failing, exceeding is where the fun lies. Students grow the most when they are seen, feel valued and can show up authentically themselves. In my class, that’s where we start.
