Teresa “Toogie” Barcelo is an internationally acclaimed choreographer and movement artist. She is on Billboard’s top 12 most iconic Choreographers of the Decade list for her work on Dua Lipa’s “New Rules”, and has received for Dua’s “Electricity” an MTV VMA nomination for ‘Best Dance Video’.
She is a pioneer of the hybridization of classical and street techniques. Toogie’s experiences range extensively in the theatre and commercial world, and is known among her peers as a chameleon, able to adapt to any creative context.
Toogie is a certified Breathe and Meditation teacher and infuses mindfulness into her performance and movement coaching style which makes her grounded presence a major asset to her clients. She is an enigma for her expertise in bringing calm and presence into a variety of often chaotic industries, having worked with Sabrina Carpenter, Alicia Keys, Harry Styles, Will Ferrell, Troye Sivan, Saweetie, Katie Perry, Tove Lo, Perfume Genius and Arthur Sadoun of Publicis Groupe to name a few.
