Jon Boogz, a visionary director, choreographer and movement artist who is pushing the evolution of dance. With a career sweeping across genres, he has an uncanny ability to meld art forms while shedding an impassionate light on social issues affecting the global community. He has choreographed and directed work for Cirque du Soleil, So You Think You Can Dance, notable icons including Mikhail Baryshnikov, Naomi Campbell and Gloria Estefan; and campaigns for Adidas, Apple, Lexus, Dom Pérignon, Marriott and Banana Republic. Boogz recently wrote, directed and performed in COLOR OF REALITY, a short film in collaboration with visual artist Alexa Meade, amassing international acclaim and over 100 million earned impressions. The work, depicting gun violence and police brutality in America, won the Great Big Story’s Art as Impact Award; Best Experimental at Toronto International Short Film Festival; and Concept Video of the Year from World of Dance, among others.

Continuing his pioneering efforts to seamlessly merge dance and film, Boogz teamed up with visionary powerhouses Terrence Malick and Facebook to create a 360 degree, VR film experience that highlights the unbreakable power of human connection. The piece fuses dance and technology, putting the viewer in the middle of an emotional narrative about breaking down barriers and bringing people closer. The work premiered at SxSW and Tribeca Film Festival in 2018. Jon Boogz is managed by Sozo Artists and represented as a filmmaker/director by Serial Pictures and 3 Arts Entertainment.
