Codie Wiggins teaching career started fifteen years ago in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was given the opportunity to teach at the city’s main studios, Dance 411 and Xcel. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has established himself as a premier teacher at Millennium Dance Complex, TMilly TV Studio, Movement Lifestyle, EXPG, KreativMndz and Legacy Studios where he teaches regularly. He has traveled and taught in hundreds of countries around the globe such as France, United Kingdom, Portugal and Germany, just to name a few.
Codie’s experience spans fourteen years in the commercial dance industry. As a performer, he has worked with artists including Usher, Beyonce, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Ciara, Justin Timberlake and Nicki Minaj. Codie also choreographed and was involved in major productions such as Pitch Perfect I and II , Get on Up, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Opening Night, Backstreet Boys Vegas Live, Dancing with the Stars, Dance Central Three, Old Navy qnd Wienerschnitzel.
With a characteristic and unique dance style that consists of clean lines, swift footwork, as well as storytelling and physical control, Codie’s goal is to empower you to build a strong mindset based fundamentally on being yourself. He believes that the awareness of identify paired with the technical tools and knowledge he provides from his experience are what will prepare you to tackle the professional performance realm.
