Georgia born, North Carolina raised, Codie Wiggins began his dancing career at the late age of 18.
He spent some time street battling and found his way to the Atlanta entertainment dance community where he trained in different genres of hip-hop. His training afforded him opportunities to work alongside distinguished choreographers such as Aakomon Jones, Jamaica Craft, Chuck Maldonado and Fatima Robinson to name a few.
Codie’s choreography experience includes work with Usher, Jason Derulo, P. Diddy, Faith Evans, Cherish, Austin Mahone, Monsta X, YK Osiris and Kehlani. He has also had the pleasure to choreograph for notable brands like Old Navy, LensCrafters and Wienerschnitzel as well as the Backstreet Boys Vegas Residency, Dancing with the Stars and the video game: Dance Central 3!
His 15 years of experience in the business has granted him a well versed and diverse understanding/knowledge of all facets of the entertainment industry. In addition to his music and advertising catalogue, Codie’s also focused on film with movie credits from: Netflix Original – Work It, Pitch Perfect 1 and 2; Get On Up (a James Brown biopic); Alvin and the Chipmunks and more. His approach consists of clean lines, visually appealing formation changes, swift footwork and a powerful yet dynamic presence. With an increasing knowledge of the current merger between social media and the established industry makes him one of the most sought-after choreographers/educators in the entertainment industry.
