Alison Faulk is an LA based choreographer and director who loves to create in all styles of dance and movement. Her choreography career began when she and Leo Moctezuma choreographed PINK’s Funhouse Tour. From there, Director Jamie King scooped her up to be the supervising choreographer for Britney Spears Femme Fatale World Tour and then Madonna’s MDNA World Tour. She was a part of numerous TV performances, live shows, and music videos with them both. In 2011, Channing Tatum asked Alison to choreograph the film Magic Mike directed by Steven Soderberg. She called longtime friends Teresa Espinosa and Luke Broadlick to partner with her on the film- the team ATL was born. They proceeded to choreograph Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL and helped Channing create and choreograph Magic Mike Live in Las Vegas, London, Berlin and Australia.
ATL collaborated on Channing Tatum’s Jimmy Kimmel dance opening, several UK Magic Mike Live promotions and specials such as Britain’s Got Talent, BBC’s Red Nose Comic Relief, and several Ellen special performances. They’ve also brought their signature Magic Mike moves to the TV shows This is Us, The Neighborhood and the film 50 Shades of Black. Other international MML promos include Germany’s Next Top Model, Das Supertalent, Luke TV, Sydney Morning Show and more.
Alison has also worked on numerous occasions with Jennifer Lopez for her live shows and TV appearances. Other notable credits include multiple episodes of The Mindy Project, The Voice, Lip Sync Battle, The Babysitter, and music videos and live performances for the Lonely Island. Alison also enjoys coaching actors in dance and helps them tailor specific movement for their upcoming roles.
Alison and Leo choreographed the award-winning contemporary number for the character “Mac” on” It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”. Additionally, they have worked on tours with artists Ricky Martin, Joslin Tsai, and music videos and live performances for Victoria Justice. You can also see more of their partner work in the films Book Club and Naked.
Alison is now diving into the world of directing film. In 2019 she wrote and directed her first short film Daydream, which took place in London. It will be released in fall 2020. She continues to develop new projects with her partners and is excited to be involved with expanding the Magic Mike Worldwide brand.
